What Is Your “Inner-voice” Telling You?

About thirteen years ago, I was so ill to the point that I was bedridden, and was very scared to think that at age 41 I could really be dying. Yet, this illness was presenting itself for a reason and forced me to take 100% responsibility for my own picture of health.

My inner voice told me, “You must leave the medical community behind in order to achieve health,“ as I was going from doctor to doctor thinking the doctors had the answers and would cure me. This inner voice said otherwise and I trusted it, and was led down the natural medicine path. My puzzle pieces were revealed to fit together to form my picture of health, and it was beautiful!

We all know what it feels like when we’re putting together a puzzle and there are missing pieces. Likewise, when we don’t feel well, there are missing pieces to our picture of health, and it’s important that we find them. Otherwise, we just repeat the same poor health day after day.

There are key puzzle pieces and I will be sharing these with you throughout my articles. One piece that is essential is our imagination. All creations begin in the mind first, and we must visualize in our mind what our picture of health looks like.

Close your eyes for a moment and mentally picture your optimum health and ideal weight, and press “click” and capture that Kodak moment. For example, you might say, “I am energetic, I weigh 120 lbs., I do cartwheels, I am wearing my size 7 red dress.” This detail helps the pieces come together to create this picture of health for you.

You Can Heal Your Life by Louise Hay is a great book to help you with the visualization and imagination techniques.

[Editor’s Comments: All of us have an “inner-voice” that speaks to us from time to time. We just don’t always listen to what it tells us. Did you have an experience like Tami’s you are willing to share? If so, please leave a comment and tell us your story.]
